The National Heritage Week talk at the Malone Mausoleum in the grounds of St Bigseach’s Church.

Malone Mausoleum undergoing conservation work

A talk on the Malone Mausoleum, located in the grounds of St Bigseach’s Church of Ireland, at Kilbixy, Ballynacargy, was one of the events during National Heritage Week, on Tuesday afternoon August 15.

Primrose Wilson was present to represent The Follies Trust, which is supporting the ongoing Conservation work on the mausoleum; she was the MC for this event.

Architect Richard McLoughlin, director of Lotts Architecture and Urbanism, based at South William Street, Dublin, addressed the gathering on the ongoing conservation work.

Master stonemason Eoin Madigan also spoke on the works from his perspective.
