Purple Raven Art celebrate life in name of peace

There was a huge turn out on Saturday last, August 19, at Purple Raven Art’s gathering to celebrate life in the name of peace.

Actress Mary McEvoy opened the event with a special reading, which was followed by calling for peace in 13 different languages. The film ‘River Deel’ by JBN productions was shown at sunset on a large outdoor screen as well as some video footage by Drone Photography Ireland, of Ireland’s spectacular views.

Hazel Revington-Cross and Jonathan Von Baumann both exhibited their new work, which remains on display.

The youngest in attendance was just eight months old and the oldest was 90 years of age and everyone enjoyed the evening.

Music filled the air throughout the night as the musicians gathered in number as the hours passed.

It was an enjoyable evening with a strong message to end the divide among humanity and stand as one in unity and peace, helping one another during difficult times.
