Mullingar Community College have announced a diverse range of evening courses for autumn 2023, and offer something for everyone, whether you’re looking to explore a new hobby or embark on a professional journey.

The college reintroduce their flagship Certificate for Accounting Technicians course, starting in September, back in the classroom for the first time since 2019. Experienced tutors will guide you through the course content and through the transition to a full-time career in accountancy.

This Level 6 qualification, certified by Accounting Technicians Ireland, will fast-track your success in the accounting field. Mullingar Community College boast some of the highest pass rates in the entire country.

A representative of Accounting Technicians Ireland will be available for information and advice at the open evening on 18 September 7-8.30pm.

Other professional courses to kick-start a new career include Special Needs Assisting and Photography. For those considering a course in engineering or teaching and in need of a refresher, there is QQI Maths, which can be substituted for Leaving Certificate Maths on the CAO application.

Embrace the Power of AI: Introductory Course

In response to recent developments in artificial intelligence (AI), the college offer an introductory course to help you harness the potential of AI using prompts. A knowledgeable tutor will cover a variety of AI tools, including ChatGPT, BING, MidJourney, Bard, and more.

Hobbies

An extensive range of hobby courses is designed to cater to many interests and passions. Learners often praise the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, as well as the enjoyable learning environment. Many popular courses have returned, and some already have waiting lists.
