Three people arrested after cash and drugs seized in Kildare

Three people have been arrested after cash and drugs worth over €40,000 was seized in Kildare.

In the course of the operation, planned searches were conducted at seven residential properties and lands in the Sallins area. Cocaine worth €8,000 (analysis pending) was recovered and €34,000 cash was seized.

Two men in theeir late teens and one in their early 20s were arrested detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda Station in County Kildare.

The operation was lead by the Kildare North Drugs Unit assisted by the Naas Detective Unit, Divisional Search Team, Garda Dog Unit and other local units.

The drugs seized will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.

Investigations are ongoing and further updates will follow.
