The north Londoners go level on points with rivals Tottenham at the summit, after inflicting a second consecutive top flight defeat on last season's treble winners.

Brighton and Liverpool have played out a thrilling 2-2 draw - the same score it finished between West Ham and Newcastle.

FAI Cup

St Pats will meet Bohemians in the FAI Cup final next month in a repeat of the 2021 decider. The Saints booked their place in the final following a 2-0 win over Cork City this afternoon.

Mark Doyle and Conor Carty with the goals in Turner's Cross. Pats were successful when the two met two years ago thanks to a penalty shootout at the Aviva Stadium.

Women's Super League

In the Women's Super League, Chelsea scored in the 96th minute to rescue a point away at Manchester City. The defending champions looked like they were heading for defeat before Guro Reiten popped up to score the crucial goal.

City went down to nine players following red cards for Alex Greenwood and Lauren Hemp.

Meanwhile, West Ham recorded a 2-0 win over Brighton, Tottenham beat Bristol City 3-1 and Everton were beaten 1-0 by Leicester

The late game this evening sees Liverpool come up against Aston Villa at 6.45pm.

Rugby World Cup

Argentina booked their spot in the last eight of the Rugby World Cup this afternoon. They got past Japan 39-27 in Nantes to set up a clash with Wales in the quarter finals.

Meanwhile, Tonga and Romania are playing for pride in Pool B. That game is underway with no early scores so far.

And the late game this evening sees Fiji take on Portugal in Pool C at 8pm.

A win for Fiji would see them advance to the last eight.

Golf

Leona Maguire has not gotten the start she wanted as she goes in search of a top 10 finish at the Ascendant on the LPGA Tour. Bogeys on her opening two holes today have seen her fall back to level par and in a tie for 22nd.

She's now 11 shots off the lead that's held by South Korean Kim Hyo-joo.

Formula One

Red Bull's Max Verstappen is looking to celebrate his third driver's championship in style with a win in the Qatar Grand Prix this evening.

The Dutch driver secured his third world title in a row with a 2nd place finish in yesterday's sprint race.

He'll start the main race from pole position with Mercedes pair George Russell and Lewis Hamilton in second and third.
