If

If you weren’t there it wouldn’t have happened

the world would not exist

the sun as you are shines down on us

and creates a soothing bliss

--------

If you weren’t there it wouldn’t have happened,

the trees they wouldn’t give us air

we wouldn’t be able to intake their beauty and experience life, although sometimes I know it’s not fair

--------

If you weren’t there it wouldn’t have happened,

the goodness, as we know it on earth

so many beautiful souls helping each other

as some pass to your arms there are many a birth

--------

You are there, things do happen,

but more good than bad

I know we can’t explain the latter

but I know it makes you sad

--------

And in my times of need you brought me comfort and peace

you come to me in other ways like through a writer’s piece

or in my dreams or in prayer

you’re in my heart forever,

for you I’ll always care.

Hope

Hope stands beneath love,

hope stands beneath comfort,

hope stands before everything or above all

--------

Hope is hopeful,

hope is wise,

hope is everything

in loving disguise

--------

Hope derives from late old English Hopa

a confidence in the future,

it’s better to say you are hopeful

than never to even try

--------

Without hope our light dims,

our love darkens

and our universe

-powers off

--------

Our hope in each other and ourselves

ignites faith, an everlasting blinding light,

a hope powered hopeful beam

that will always stay shining no matter who or where

--------

Hope is always,

hope is forever,

hope is an underlying pathos

of which we all exist through, here.

A Splash of Life

Whispering waves, beneath they fall,

Into a fascinating world, a wonder-wall,

If I danced like the ocean, and dreamt like the skies,

Submerged precious and pure is what truly lies,

A tranquil treasure, we know so deep and blue,

A reflection of our hearts, so free and true,

Miles and miles of uncovered beauty and depth,

A secret, an essence, a presence to be kept,

A splash of life that unearths your soul,

a majestic ocean, a sand patrol,

Seashell, seashell on the seashore,

Seashell, a seashell, discovers a bellowing for more.
