Mullingar wins ‘Depot of year’ at Bus Éireann awards

Bus Éireann celebrated the achievements of its employees in 2023 at the regional annual GEM (Go the Extra Mile) Awards, which recognise excellent customer service, community impact, performance and forward-thinking.

Awards were issued in a number of different categories including Apprentice of the Year, Depot of the Year, Executive of the Year as well as Driver and Community Awards.

The Mullingar depot and its staff were recognised as Depot of the Year for their excellent collaboration and dedication to excellent customer service.

The Mullingar team demonstrated innovative collaboration during the Fleadh Cheoil 2023, ensuring a smooth delivery of services to all in attendance, said the judges.

That was a extremely busy time in Mullingar and all drivers and staff worked together to provide top quality service delivery for customers.

The Bus Éireann regional awards take place across the country in October and the winners of each region go forward to the National GEM awards on December 8 in Dublin.
