Two men arrested after drugs seized in Louth and Monaghan

Two men have been arrested after €150,000 of cannabis was seized in Monaghan and Louth.

Suspected cannabis with an estimated value of €70,000 was seized in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan on Monday evening.

This led to a follow up search in at a premises in Dromiskin, Co. Louth, where suspected cannabis with an approximate value of €80,000 was seized.

Two men, aged in their 40s and 50s were arrested, and detained at Garda stations in Monaghan.

Both have been charged to appear before Monaghan District Court on Wednesday 25th October at 10.30am.
