‘Full emergency’ declared at Dublin Airport after reports of smoke in aircraft

Dublin Airport declared a full emergency earlier this afternoon.

A private aircraft aborted its take off following reports of smoke in the cockpit.

An airport spokesperson said their emergency services attended the scene.

There were no injuries, but the crew were evacuated, and the aircraft was towed from the runway. A spokesperson for the DAA said there were no injuries and operations were moved to the North Runway during the incident.
