All Saints climate change team ‘Lighten Our Darkness’ team to hold table quiz

The young leaders of the All Saints climate change initiative, called Lighten Our Darkness, are holding a table quiz on Thursday November 16 at 8pm in the Greville Arms Hotel. Canon Alastair Graham expressed his gratitude “to Christy Maye for allowing us to hold this table quiz to raise funds for this important initiative by young leaders in the parish”.

He said that the young leaders are working to create oases of biodiversity in the 14 churchyards in the parish. “This work is of great importance, given the impact we are all now experiencing of climate change.

“We are pleased that Pauric Lynch will be the quizmaster and Christy Maye is giving a colour television as the first prize in the raffle.

“Everyone is warmly invited to come and support this table quiz fundraiser and it will be an evening of great fun and enjoyment.”
