Brosna Art Group prepare for annual show

The Brosna Art Group present the 2023 edition of their annual exhibition this week. Paintings, in watercolour, acrylic and oils, depict all aspects of life, including the beautiful Irish countryside, people, animals and the beauty of nature in the form of still life.

Group member Patricia Leogue says: "Painting is a great form of relaxation where one can shut out the cares of life and become lost in a painting."

Brosna Art is an amateur group and is always seeking new members

The exhibition officially opens tomorrow Thursday November 16 at 7.30pm; it is open that day from 11am to 7pm. It is open on the Friday 11am to 9pm, and the Saturday 11am to 5pm.

This year’s raffle is supporting local Lions Club.
