Loreto students will take you to heaven with Sister Act

Students at Loreto College Mullingar promise to take their audiences to heaven when they perform Sister Act this week.

They have been rehearsing for week, and they’re now putting the final touches to the show in preparation for opening night, this Wednesday, November 29.

The show runs for three nights, till Friday, December 1 (curtain up at 8pm).

Sister Act will have them dancing in the aisles as Deloris Van Cartier and her fellow sisters tell their moving story with powerful gospel music and outrageous moves.

Students and staff have been working hard to prepare the school for one of the biggest events of their year.

Students have been involved in every element of the production, from making costumes to set design, as stage hands, acting, singing, advertising and promotion, and much more.

Tickets for the show, which is in the concert hall at Loreto College, are available from the school (€15). Show starts at 8pm sharp each night.
