Many hands make light work of shoebox appeal

This year as part of an annual philanthropic gesture, Ben Butler who works with the Mullingar company, ACS Drives and Controls, decided to donate 50 shoeboxes to Team Hope.

Ben and his sister Jennie, and her son Noah and his friend Ariel, hand wrapped and filled all 50 shoeboxes in just two days!

"Instead of giving gifts to our clients this year we donated shoeboxes in their names as an act of goodwill," Ben tells the Westmeath Examiner.

JJ Coyne and Shane Lynch got involved.

"Swarbriggs, another Mullingar business, donated all 50 boxes to us! We got items for the shoeboxes from Dealz, Penneys, Amazon, and donations from members of staff."
