Local TD to host pathway to home ownership webinar

Local Fianna Fáil TD Robert Troy has encouraged people interesting in getting their foot on the property ladder to join his upcoming housing webinar.

The Longford-Westmeath TD will host a pathway to home ownership information event online on Tuesday December 5th at 8pm.

The webinar will include information from Kevin Dillon, special adviser to Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien, on the Government’s Housing for All schemes including Help to Buy, the First Home Shared Equity Scheme and the Vacant/Derelict Grant Scheme.

It will also include advice from mortgage advisor Mark Solan on how best to become mortgage ready.

Deputy Troy said: “I would urge anyone who is interested in buying their own home to attend my upcoming free home ownership information webinar where they’re receive advice on how to access the Government’s Housing for All schemes.

“Fianna Fáil in government is committed to doing its utmost to assist people to buy a home. The webinar will have advice on the Help to Buy scheme, the First Home Shared Equity Scheme and the Vacant/Derelict Grant Scheme. There will also be information about how best house hunters can prepare for apply for a mortgage.”
