Megan Dowdall named camogie player of the year

A wonderful occasion was enjoyed by all who attended this year's Westmeath camogie awards, in The Village Barn, Tyrrellspass.

Westmeath camogie have expressed huge congratulations to all of the nominees and winners of the Senior Team of the Year Award. The senior players’ player of the year was won by Megan Dowdall.

The county players’ player of the year is Dearbhail McLoughlin.

Louise O’Connor and Ella Murtagh were presented with their awards for the Poc Fada.

The winning positions from 1-15 on the team of the year were: Rebecca Dunne, Mary Geraghty, Jade McKeogh, Karen Gaffney, Laura Doherty, Claire Gaffney, Lucy Power, Aoife O’Malley, Julie McLoughlin, Amelia Shaw, Megan Dowdall, Áine Lynn, Hannah Core, Holly Dowdall, Denise McGrath.
