Happy birthday to a great Rochfortbridge lady, Sheila Lyster, who celebrated her 80th with family and friends, recently.

Sheila ran the well-known Lyster family pub in Rochfortbridge for many years before retiring some years ago.

There were 12 members of the Lyster family, including those who are now deceased and fondly remembered: Joe, Jack, Jim, Nell, Una, Monica and Margaret. Sheila’s older sister, who lives in Brisbane, Australia, could not travel the distance and sent on her love during a lovely chat over the phone on the day.
