Glamour at Mullingar Park Hotel at Rochfortbridge TY fashion show

There was a night of glamour in the Mullingar Park Hotel when the transition year students from St Joseph’s Secondary School, Rochfortbridge took to a catwalk that would rival Milan for their fashion show.

One hundred and 35 models showed clothes from Female, Jasmine, Wilfs, Shaws, Pamela Scott, Love Lucy, Samie Ladies, Carraig Donn, Dunnes Stores, Paco, KC Sports, Presents, Enable Ireland, DV8, Penneys, O’Sullivan’s, Guy Clothing and Kode.

The shops did great work with their looks and there was huge enjoyment from the audience as the students appeared in outfit after stunning outfit.

Teachers took part also and there were cheers from the crowd as they strutted their stuff.

The night was hosted by local presenter Shane Barkey and art teacher Katie Deegan, a glamorous duo who kept the show rolling with professionalism, ease and entertainment.

The support from local businesses for the raffle on the night was phenomenal and the school team were appreciative of that.

Backstage was a hive of activity as the teaching staff of St Joseph’s pulled together with amazing organisation, having tremendous fun in the process.

It was a night to remember and one which will probably become a mainstay of the St Joseph’s social calendar for time to come.
