Niall shortlisted for Irish Song of the Year

Niall Horan's single Heaven has been shortlised for the RTÉ Choice Music Prize  Irish Song of the Year 2023.

The first single from Horan's third album, The Show, Heaven reached number four in the Irish charts when it was released last February.

Horan is up against stiff competition this year with the likes of CMAT's Stay for Something, Hozier's Eat Your Young and Lankum's Go Dig My Grave also shortlisted.

Music fans can vote for the song of year by visiting the 2fm website. Votes are limited to one per person per day. Only votes cast in the Republic of Ireland will be counted. Voting closes at midnight on Sunday February 25.

The winning song will be announced by Tracy Clifford on March 7 on a special Song of the Year radio show on 2FM that afternoon ahead of the live event.

A special RTÉ Choice Music Prize highlights programme will be broadcast on RTÉ2 television the following week.
