Brownstown Drama present ‘The Greatest Show’

Brownstown Drama present their 31st annual show this year, and have a 70-strong cast from junior infants to adults of unmentionable ages.

Their annual variety performance is suitably titled ‘The Greatest Show’, and producer Ursula Cahill, choreographers Halle Cahill and local woman Paula Cox, have ensured that this year’s show is full of songs that will have audiences singing along, and comedy sketches that will make them laugh out loud.

The variety of numbers include some from Madonna, Abba, Joe Dolan and Guns n Roses, so there is, as they say, something for everyone.

The children have been rehearsing favourite Disney classics and a few Taylor Swift and Ed Sheerin songs too.

If you are in the Brownstown audience, you’d better have your feet tapping and your hands clapping from the minute the show starts, as musical director Brendan Leavy will be watching!

Performances are on Friday February 16, 8pm; Saturday February 17, 8pm; and there is a matinee performance on Sunday February 18 at 3pm, in Brownstown Community Centre, Archerstown, Delvin (N91WD30).

Entry is €15 for adults, €10 for students and €5 for children.
