1428 Club notes

Opening hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Thursday, and Friday till 2pm. Coffee mornings are n Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11am. Bingo (if you wish) afterward.

One hour of Gaeilge, informal conversation through the medium of Gaeilge, Wednesdays 1.30pm.

Go for Life is the national programme for sport and physical activity for older people (aged over 50 years). It is run by Age and Opportunity in partnership with the Health Promotion and Improvement Offices of the Health Service Executive (HSE) and the local Sports Partnerships. These exercises are carried out to the rhythm of music. It’s on Wednesdays at 10am.

On Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, time slot for IT tutoring – enrol in one of the classes and there are drop-in sessions.

There was a Chime hearing aid clinic on Friday last. Phone 04493 84290 for inquiries and to book a slot for the next clinic.

Beata is at the club on Mondays at 10.30am and she will look after repairs and alterations of curtains, upholstery, clothes.
