Eighth Comhaltas branch gets lift-off in East Westmeath
Last Saturday night marked the grand lift-off of the latest addition to the Comhaltas family – introducing the dynamic Craobh Oirthear Iarmhí (East Westmeath Branch), now the eighth jewel in Westmeath’s musical crown.
The evening unfolded into a impressive celebration of Irish music and song, peppered with lively banter, passionate chats, and a lot of hospitality, seasoned with just a dash of speeches.
As the evening began to move into night-time, the Third Place Community Centre in Raharney village was buzzing with excitement.
