Robbie Henshaw takes flight on new Aer Lingus plane

Aer Lingus has unveiled a new aircraft featuring Ireland's rugby stars Robbie Henshaw, Caelan Doris, Josh van der Flier and Tadhg Furlong painted on the fuselage.

Athlone's Robbie is taking flight as he touches down for a try on the new A320 Green Spirit Naomh Fachtna, which was painted in Shannon Airport this week.

Aer Lingus said the distinctive aircraft will be in Dublin to board the rugby stars for a very special flight to London next weekend, and a big match with old foes, England, in Twickenham

"Robbie, Caelan, Josh and Tadhg - we’ll see you on board your special flight to London next week," the airline said in a post on social media on February 28.

Aer Lingus is the official airline of the Irish Rugby team.
