Huge fundraising efforts for Tanzanian Heavenly Homes

The founder of the Tanzanian Heavenly Homes charity, John McCauley, was delighted with the Annual Mega Quiz fundraiser in the Greville Arms Hotel on February 16 last.

There was a great turnout and John expressed his gratitude to all those people, to the volunteers who helped organise and run the quiz, and to the quizmaster and the hotel staff.

John also expressed his thanks to the organisers of the events mentioned below, and said that all funds raised go directly to help poor people in Tanzania; all volunteers who travel there each summer to help with the building and other projects pay their own costs, and John runs the charity possible so that overheads are minimal.

Other fundraisers

Aoife Murphy, who is going to Tanzania this year, hosted a table quiz to raise funds for Tanzanian Heavenly Homes, at Gaffney’s in Delvin on Friday March 1 at 8pm.
