Ballinafid Multyfarnham Bunbrosna Active

BMB Active will mark International Women’s Day with a light lunch in Weir’s Restaurant, Multyfarnham at 12.30. The theme this year’s is Inspire Inclusion. BMB Active acknowledge that when we inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion, we forge a better world for everyone.

When women themselves are inspired to be included, there is a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.

BMB Active strive to be part of this global day of celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women and to mark women’s struggle for equality and justice. We look forward to seeing you in Weir’s on Friday for light lunch, and open conversation on the theme of International Women’s Day.

There will be a raffle and refreshments. Purple is the official colour for the event to show solidarity.

As an act of goodwill, members are requested to donate small toiletries, such as facecloths, wipes, toothbrush and toothpaste, small shampoos, and combs and hairbrushes.
