Mullingar native marries Irish rugby star
Mullingar native Sophie Marren married long-time boyfriend Robbie Henshaw yesterday (Thursday) at a ceremony in Cashel, Tipperary.
The happy couple and their wedding party, which included a number of Henshaw's Ireland and Leinster team mates, including Josh van der Flier, James Lowe, Conor Murray and James Ryan, celebrated their big day at the five star Cashel Palace Hotel.
According to reports, the couple have been going out for over a decade and met while they were studying in UCD. They got engaged in 2022.
It has been a week to remember for Sophie and Robbie, who last Saturday was part of the Irish team that secured back-to-back Six Nations titles with their victory over Scotland.
