Local authors visit Holy Family NS

Holy Family NS hosted a number of local authors last week as part of their Book Blitz sponsorship drive.

The group of authors, which included Seamus O'Brien, Fionnuala Edwards, Dolores Keaveney, Teresa Doran and Rod Smith, as well as Ciara O'Hara from Just Books, not only read pieces of their work, but also gave the students a valuable insight into the life of a writer and their working habits.

The book blitz, which has been enthusiastically supported by students and their families, started on March 7 (World Book Day) and draws to a close on April 7.
