Westmeath Foróige District Council held a table quiz in Castletown Hall on Friday February 23. There was a great turnout for what was the first get-together since the clubs returned in person after the Covid-19 pandemic.

It was a pleasure to see more than 80 young people all working together and enjoying the quiz.

As always, the leaders of the different clubs helped to ensure that the quiz was a great success and many thanks to them and to the RYO, Bríd Canny. Smiths Toys and Works in Athlone sponsored prizes - many thanks to them for their support.

We are hoping to have more opportunities to bring the clubs together within the district as it is such an important aspect of Foróige offering the young people a chance to get involved in competitions and projects.

Well done to all involved and especially the winners.
