Last chance to see! Les Misérables matinee tomorrow

The run of Les Misérables by Mullingar Student Players has sold out so far, and such is the level of demand that the arts centre team have added an additional show.

It’s a matinee, tomorrow, Saturday April 6, at 3pm.

The musical has received “tumultuous ovations” at each performance, said arts centre director, Sean Lynch.

The cast feature the best young performers, “who have had the audiences crying and laughing throughout the entire show”.

Les Misérables is the longest-running musical in West End history and continues to draw audiences with its story on the life of Jean Valjean, played in Mullingar by Sean McDonnell, and his conflict with Javert (Sean Kelly).

“Outstanding performances from Katie Purdue, Emma Rogerson and Emily Shaw ensure that this is a show not to be missed,” said Sean.

The production features some 50 young performers.

The production team include Sean Lynch (director), Angela Lynch (musical director), Sarah Corrigan (choreographer), and Sam Gilmartin (assistant director).

Tickets for tomorrow’s performance are €17/€15; call 044 93 47777 and see mullingarartscentre.ie.
