Iconic hits that everyone knows will feature when a tribute to The Drifters, featuring Richie Sampson, takes over the Greville Arms Hotel on Friday (April 19).

The music of the Drifters lives on as this fabulous vocal group relives the magic of that splendid era breathing new life into fabulous songs with a setlist including ‘Saturday Night at the Movies’, ‘Under the Boardwalk’, ‘Save the last dance’, ‘My Girl’ and many more favourites.

The band have been performing for more than a decade and before that Richie Sampson was frontman for the The Foundations. He has also performed alongside former longstanding stars of The Drifters such as Ray Lewis, Roy Hemmings, Butch Leake, and Peter Lamar.

The vocal group are completed by Paul Anthony, Roy Bailey and Victor Alexander, all renowned vocalists.

Their special guest is Desi Egan, who has worked alongside some of the greats of show business like Joe Dolan, Roger Whittaker, Tony Christie, and Brendan Grace.
