At the blessing of cars and road users in the Parish of Rochfortbridge were Fr William Coleman, PP, Rochfortbridge, with Harry and Eliza Butler, Claire, Rachel and Miriam Robinson and Aishling, Aoife, Eimear and Rian Heeney.

With Road safety at the forefront of the news lately, a special blessing was bestowed upon all drivers and road users during masses and on all vehicles after Masses in Rochfortbridge, Milltownpass and Meedin over the weekend.

This was one of the initiatives introduced at a recent Parish Pastoral Assembly meeting.

It will be an annual event.
