Ringtown club hold festival of hurling and camogie

Three schools in Whitehall, Coole and Lismacraffrey benefited from Ringtown Hurling Club's hurling and camogie festival week which culminated in a celebration at the club grounds on Friday evening.

There was a great turnout for what proved to be a great evening of fun and games in Ringtown.

The Ringtown hurling club thanked coaches Pat O'Boyle, Aoife Murtagh and Karen Goldrick who took time off work during the week to assist in the running of the festival, and to coaching officer Emmet Corrigan for all his work organising the various coaching sessions.

The week long festival of hurling and camogie was a great success and the club is grateful to all who assisted in any way.

Friday evening provided a great opportunity to for people to meet the club coaches and see the club's top class facilities which benefit all players.

The Winners of the poster competition which ran during the week received their prizes, as follows: Aoibheann Duffy, Muireann O'Reilly, Casey O'Prey, Sabrina Reilly, Anabelle Durkin, Eliza Deac, Kian Nea, Áine Tiernan, Ronan Reilly, Eabha Callaghan, Meja Gelzinyte, Aoife McKinney.
