A three-day calendar of events to mark St Patrick’s Day 2025 in Mullingar will focus on traditional Irish music and the town’s great sporting heritage, as several clubs celebrate anniversaries next year.
Plans for “another great parade and festival” over the St Patrick’s Day weekend were launched with a fundraising table quiz in Berty’s Bar at the Annebrook House Hotel last week.
The parade will take place on St Patrick’s Day, Monday March 17, and a calendar of events over the weekend of March 15 and 16 will be announced in the new year.
The quiz drew a large number of competitors and the committee thanked quizmaster Willie Geraghty, everybody that attended, and everybody that donated prizes for the raffle.
