Pastoral Assembly seeking views on future of Mullingar Parish
The members of the Mullingar Parish Pastoral Assembly would like to “hear the views of parishioners regarding the future direction of the parish”, and they are conducting a survey on the subject.
Laura Cahill, chairperson of the Parish Pastoral Assembly, said they “recognise that opportunities for engagement and communication are key” to making plans for Mullingar Parish.
“We are asking for your participation in a parish survey, which will allow you to share your thoughts and experiences to help guide the future direction of Mullingar parish. The feedback for this survey will directly inform the Parish Assembly of the needs, hopes, and goals of our parish community.”
Ms Cahill noted that the survey is anonymous, and that responses will be confidential, “allowing parishioners to share openly and honestly”.
Details on how to access the survey are in the Parish Newsletter and on the parish website at: mullingarparish.ie/parish-survey.
The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete.
Ms Cahill added: “Pastoral action simply means that we are concerned with the people of our community and how we are living out our faith.
“We are looking forward to hearing the views of parishioners, and we recognise that communication is important in that.
“Every response counts and you will make a difference. Thank you.”
