The Ballinagore team that ended the club's 17 year wait for a county title last October were presented with their medals at a function in The Barn, Tyrrellspass on Saturday evening last.
Managed by 2004 Leinster championship winner and club legend Michael Ennis, Ballinagore secured the Junior 2 Football title by defeating Delvin on a scoreline of 1-15 to 1-10.
A large crowd packed into The Barn on Saturday evening to celebrate last season's success. The chair of Westmeath GAA Frank Mescall, along with the recently retired Westmeath stalwart James Dolan, presented the medals to the team. Last year's captain Robbie Keegan was the very popular winner of the player of the year award for his consistency and leadership throughout last season.
A presentation was also made to manager Michael Ennis and his selectors Paul Seery, Peter Robinson and Enda McCann for the great work they put into the team.
