Country music royalty coming to Mullingar Arts Centre
There is country music royalty at Mullingar Arts Centre on Monday May 19, when Philomena Begley and Ray Lynam star live in concert, with special guest Mick Flavin.
Begley and Lynam are household names and legends of Irish country music, and both have long careers at the top.
They both have enjoyed massive success including many number one hit songs, from Blanket on the Ground and Gypsy Joe and Me, to The Queen of the Silver Dollar.
They play to packed houses in halls, festivals and theatres from Ireland to Tennessee.
Philomena and Ray have shared stages with George Jones, Tammy Wynette, and Charley Pride as well as the top Irish stars and are still regulars on national radio.
On their tour, titled ‘We go together’ the stars perform duets including My elusive dreams, We Go together and Somewhere between, and many more hits from their impressive catalogues.
