Eamonn Tutty, Justin Moffatt, David ClarkeThe ancient tradition of lighting the Great Fire was welcomed back this summer and came alive once again at the Bealtaine Fire Festival on May 10, in the stunning natural landscape of the Hill of Uisneach.
This vibrant event featured a mix of live music, food stalls, yoga, mindfulness, crafting workshops, heritage talks, children’s activities, and much more to explore throughout the day.
One of the festival’s most powerful moments was the procession of fire and light that took place as the crowd all came together where the Great Fire was lit. When the Bealtaine fire was lit on the hill of Uisneach, there was a breathtaking atmosphere as the crowd celebrated.
The Bealtaine Fire Festival had an amazing atmosphere, festival-goers of all ages immersed themselves in the many experiences on offer at the event, the Bealtaine Fire Festival brought people together in a joyful, meaningful celebration that continues to inspire every year.
