Coralstown 5k running off at end of May

The annual Coralstown 5km fun run in aid of Coralstown National School takes place at May Wednesday 28 (7pm).

Last year more than 150 people took part in the run and it was a huge success, and this year all involved in organising the 5km are hoping to match or increase that number.

The 5km takes place over a lovely route, taking in the banks of the canal. Tea and coffee will be available in the school after the run, while the prizes are being presented.

The organisers have announced that they have many spot prizes so if you are not the fastest runner there is a chance of a prize.

Registration for the event is available online through Eventmaster and registration will also take place from 5.30pm on the evening of the race.

All funds generated are for the benefit of the national school and its pupils. So get along to Coralstown, Kinnegad for a fun run on Wednesday May 28.
