BMB welcome gardaí and AIB for online security workshop

Last sunny Thursday morning, in Multyfarnham Community Centre, BMB Active members attended an open meeting addressed by AIB Bank officials in an excellent overview of actions we can take to insure our safety, and security, on line when banking. They emphasised the importance of recognising bogus overtures in safeguarding personal resources.

BMB Active members were delighted to welcome Garda Martina Walsh and Garda Camilla Corbett, and to Myles Gillespie and Martina Kennedy from AIB. We are grateful for the information imparted, and their dedication to keeping vulnerable citizens safe.

First Communion

Well done to the18 pupils from St Cremin’s N who received the sacrament of Holy Communion in St Nicholas Church, Multyfarnham on Saturday. Alzheimer Tea Party

BMB Active extend gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the enjoyable Tea party in Multyfarnham Community Centre. A total of €1509.53 was raised to donate to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland, on your behalf, so thank you very much.

Cemetery Sunday

Some BMB Active members and friends may like to know that Cemetery Sunday devotions on the June public holiday weekend: Saturday May 31, 6pm, in Lacken Cemetery, and at 6.30pm in nearby Leney Cemetery and Sunday June 1, after 11 Mass in St Andrew’s Cemetery followed by devotion in St Peter’s, The ‘Rock’ at 12.30, and concluding in Stonehall graveyard at 1.

Pilates with BMB Active

The next six weeks of Pilates begins on Monday May 26, with floor Pilates starting at 10 and seated Pilates at 12.
