All Stars Book Club at Mullingar Library

The photo above shows staff and members of the All Stars Book Club in Mullingar Library with some of their recent reads. The club has been active for more than three years and is open to all adults with Down Syndrome.

At their monthly meetings, members discuss the books they have read. The partnership between Westmeath Libraries and Down Syndrome Ireland contributed to Mullingar recently being named Library of the Year for the Island of Ireland at the British Book Awards.
