Veronica Crowley, RIP, - 'much loved and respected'
Tributes have been pouring in since the passing of popular Mullingar woman, Veronica Crowley of Lynn Heights. She was a much loved and respected member of the community and her death evoked an immense sense of loss.
Born Veronica Rabbett of Great Down, The Downs, Mullingar, she worked for more than 30 years in the Greville Arms Hotel and in the Lake County, Mullingar, and made many lifelong friends. She previously worked in The Arcade and Broder’s Hotel.
Many of the tributes that have been paid to her described Veronica as “a great neighbour and a lovely lady”.

"She was a lovely lady; when I think of Veronica she is always smiling and laughing".
"I always remember Veronica as a warm, very polite and always smiling person, full of jokes but also a kind word when you need it".
She passed peacefully on May 19 at home, surrounded by her loving and devoted family who cared for her throughout her bravely borne illness.
Veronica will be deeply missed by her adored sons Stephen, Paul, Donal and Alan, and her daughter Caroline, her loving sisters Eilish and Olive, her cherished grandchildren Aiden, Dylan, Amy, Aaron, Adam, Callum, Ayla, Aiden and Jason, her son-in-law Tommy Bolger, and daughter-in-law Katleen, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many, many friends.
Veronica was predeceased by her loving husband Patrick and infant son Aiden, and by her parents Patrick and Angela Rabbett, and sisters Kathleen and Angela.
