Castlepollard Summer Field Day planned in aid of Parish funds

The Rectory Field in Castlepollard will host a Summer Field Day with an array of activities, on Saturday, June 14 from 12 pm onwards.

The field day is in aid of Castlepollard, Oldcastle and Mountnugent Parish Funds, and will see a barbecue, cake stalls, burger stalls, plant stalls, fun activities, games for children and hot beverage stalls.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their dog along with them, as there will be a dog show and any dog can take part.

One of the event's main attractions is the Face on a Plate competition, where visitors will create a face on a paper plate, using crafting materials and colours.

Those taking part in the competition are encouraged to bring their entry with them, between 12 pm and 3 pm, with judging due to take place at 3.15 pm sharp.

The entry fee for the competition is €2, and there will be prizes for winners across all age groups.
