Volunteers sought to help at Corpus Christi procession

Mullingar Parish is looking for volunteers to steward and help at the Corpus Christi procession on Sunday 22 June after 12.30pm Mass.

It is the first Corpus Christi procession in many years in Mullingar and the Parish Pastoral Assembly wants to involve as many people as possible.

"It should be a great family event with a procession involving local First Holy Communion classes followed by tea, ice cream and festivities in the Cathedral grounds," said Tomás Nally, a member of the assembly.

"If you can spare one or two hours on the day, please contact me or any member of the Parish Pastoral Assembly and we will add you to the volunteer group.

"Please share with local groups, clubs and societies. Thank you."
