CJ hopes new book can help others to reach success in personal training industry

Mullingar personal trainer, CJ Scally, has published his second book, called ‘The Life of a Personal Trainer, The Wins, The Losses and The Truth'.

CJ’s new book is a follow-up to his first, ‘Your 8 Week Plan’, which looked at all aspects of getting into shape in eight weeks.

CJ works as an online personal trainer, and also provided training on a one-to-one basis with clients.

He said: “It's written for personal trainers, business owners, fitness professionals, and anyone curious about building a life in this industry.

“I was just between clients one day, and I said to myself, I've been in this industry 13 years, and I see a lot of people failing in the industry, so what if I could write something that would help them.

“This is a great industry to work in, and I'd love more people to try it and get involved.

“I feel like I can help these people, because I'm doing this job such a long time, and many people quit after a short time, simply down to burnout and finding it difficult to run a business like this.

“With that in mind, I've put all of the strategies and tools I've acquired over the years into these books, and hopefully that can help people achieve their dreams.”
