Raharney pupils put the heart in Braveheart

The talented pupils of Raharney National School delivered a captivating performance of the play Braveheart of the Wild at Mullingar Arts Centre on May 29.

The show, inspired by the classic tale of Mowgli, followed the young boy through the jungle as he tried to reach the man village and evade the menacing Shere Khan.

All the children brought their characters to life with enthusiasm and skill, impressing the packed audience with their stage presence and storytelling.

The event was a community celebration, with strong support from businesses and families who sponsored a beautifully designed play programme and contributed spot prizes for a raffle.

The success of the show was also thanks to the dedicated tutors from the arts centre who visited the school over the last three months to help guide rehearsals.

The evening was a testament to the hard work and creativity of the students, school staff, and wider community.
