TR club on tour from UK

Members of the Shropshire group of the TR Register stopped for a break at Belvedere House and Gardens during their tour of Ireland last week.

Alan Edwards, speaking to the Westmeath Examiner on behalf of the group, said: "We try to have a foreign holiday each year. Two years ago, we were in Ireland, but we were in the south, last year we went to Scotland, we have done France. In the past we’ve done the Alps, including Switzerland.

"This year, unfortunately, there’s only four cars because some of our members were attending a wedding and we’ve had a bit of illness in the club as well. With our advancing years, it gets harder and harder. But we really love Ireland, apart from your weather, which has been pretty awful."
