Man charged following fire attack at Mullingar residence
A man has been charged following fire attack late last month at Mullingar residence.
Emergency services and Gardai responded to an incident of criminal damage by fire at a residential property in Mullingar on June 21.
The incident happened at around 8.35 pm, with no injuries being reported at the time.
A man in his 30s was arrested and has since been charged.
A statement from the Garda Press Office said: “Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a criminal damage by fire incident that occurred at a residential property in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath on June 21, 2025 at approximately 8:35 pm.
“No injuries were reported. A man aged in his 30s who was arrested in relation to this incident has subsequently been charged.
“As this incident is now before the courts, An Garda Síochána cannot comment further.”
