Garda helicopter hovering over Mullingar

People in Mullingar are aware that a Garda helicopter has been hovering over the town this afternoon.

The Garda helicopter was circulating around Mullingar Town Centre this afternoon around 12pm.

The helicopter was heard clearly throughout the town, with it seemingly flying low for some time.

A spokesperson from the Garda Press Office said: “This office does not provide statements on why Garda vehicles are in use.”
