Doctor accused of dangerous driving causing death of daughter to reappear
A doctor accused of dangerous driving causing the death of his six-year-old daughter last year has had his case adjourned to November for arraignment.
Babak Meshkat (45), with an address at An Cimín Mór, Cappagh Road, Galway, appeared before Judge Kenneth Connolly at a sitting of Mullingar Circuit Court, where his barrister, Andrea Callan, BL, informed the court that the defence would need more time.
Mr Meshkat was charged earlier this year with dangerous driving causing death, following a crash on the M6 in County Westmeath on February 8, 2024.
The accused will reappear on November 25.
