Donegal and Kerry teams both unchanged for All Ireland football final

Donegal have announced the same team as that which began the All Ireland semi-final win over Meath for Sunday’s SFC final against Kerry.

The county has not released their match-day substitutes list. Instead, they provided their full 35-man panel. All 11 of those who were on the bench for the Meath game are included.

Captain Patrick McBrearty is once again starting on the bench, with Caolan McGonagle also among the subs.

The Donegal team for the All Ireland football final is as follows:

Shaun Patton (St Eunan’s); Finnbarr Roarty (Naomh Conaill), Brendan McCole (St Naul’s), Peadar Mogan (St Naul’s); Ryan McHugh (Kilcar), Eoghan Bán Gallagher (Killybegs), Caolan McColgan (Naomh Pádraig Uisce Chaoin); Hugh McFadden (Killybegs), Michael Langan (c, St Michael’s); Shane O’Donnell (St Eunan’s), Ciarán Thompson (Naomh Conaill), Ciarán Moore (St Eunan’s); Conor O’Donnell (Cardonagh), Michael Murphy (Glenswilly), Oisín Gallen (Seán MacCumhaills).

Meanwhile, Kerry are still sticking with the same 15 that started their semi-final victory over Tyrone, though the fit-again Diarmuid O’Connor returns to the matchday panel.

The 15 who began the semi-final win over Tyrone are set to be in from the off, but O’Connor could be available for the first time since the All Ireland preliminary quarter-final win over Cavan in Killarney last month. Kerry has named 28 players, but the match-day panel is limited to 26.

Paul Geaney, who scored a goal against Donegal in the 2014 All Ireland final win, is again listed among the substitutes.

The Kerry team for the All Ireland football final is as follows:

Shane Ryan (Rathmore); Paul Murphy (Rathmore), Jason Foley (Ballydonoghue), Dylan Casey (Austin Stacks); Brian Ó Beaglaoich (An Ghaeltacht), Mike Breen (Beaufort), Gavin White (c, Dr Crokes); Seán O’Brien (Beaufort), Mark O’Shea (Dr Crokes); Joe O’Connor (Austin Stacks), Seán O’Shea (Kenmare Shamrocks), Graham O’Sullivan (Dromid Pearses); David Clifford (Fossa), Paudie Clifford (Fossa), Dylan Geaney (Dingle).
