Property marking event at Newtown Lawns

The weather was on their side when Newtown Lawns Residents Association hosted a property marking event.

Garda Martina Walsh and Garda Camilla Corbett from the Mullingar Community Policing Unit oversaw the marking of around 50 bikes, trikes and scooters.

Each item was engraved with the owner’s eircode, so if it us stolen, it will be easier to identify the owner.

This is a great community event available to other residents associations in Mullingar.
